Meet Sally!<br/><br/>Sally is an year old pit mix who is still looking for her forever family! She's been with us for over a year, but we know her family is out there somewhere.<br/><br/> Sally would be best as the only dog in the home, but a similarly sized, calm and obedient dog friend may be possible for her in the right home.<br/> Sally does not like cats!<br/> Kids 8+, no young children please due to her size and energy level!<br/><br/> Sally needs a fenced in yard, no exceptions, because she loves to play outdoors, especially fetch!<br/> Sally loves trips to the beach and playing in the water with a lifejacket on.<br/> She loves the snow too, she's a 4 seasons gal!<br/> Sally loves walks and car rides.<br/> She loves to cuddle, especially if a soft, fluffy, plush blanket is involved.<br/> She doesn't mind a shower once in a while when needed, and she will willingly go in for a bath!<br/> Sally is fully potty trained.<br/> She is also crate trained and is happy to be in her crate when nobody is home. She goes in willingly at bedtime with the door left open, but she also loves to sleep on the bed.<br/> She would love a family that is home more often than not, but this is not a requirement.<br/> Sally is food motivated and a very quick learner. She knows many commands including: sit, stay, lay down, dance/up (up on hind legs), shake/paw, working on turn and back!<br/> She is a great watch dog and will alert you to unfamiliar sounds and let you know when someone is at the door.<br/> Sally's new family needs to be patient and willing to continue working with her leash/barrier reactivity. She just wants to say hi, explore and get some lovin', but doesn't know how to properly and gets frustrated by being restrained from doing what she wants.<br/><br/>Sally has so many great qualities and we just can't understand why she hasn't found her perfect home yet.
