Intake Sept. 2024<br/> #SallieMae — curvy, gorgeous, and ready for her glow-up <br/><br/>SallieMae has been at the shelter well over a year , and while she’s still our beloved shelter favorite, it’s time — past time — for her to finally get the life she deserves.<br/>Today we took her outside and bundled her up in a little hoodie because it’s been so cold… and SallieMae was feeling herself.<br/>She strutted around like, “Girl… this curve? This hoodie? I look GOOD.” <br/>And she was absolutely right.<br/>She is curvy and gorgeous, with the most stunning, soulful eyes that will stop you in your tracks.<br/>When SallieMae first meets you, she gets very low to the ground — quiet, still, unsure.<br/>But give her a moment…<br/>And then she flourishes. <br/>She softens, she leans in, she becomes the sweetest little pup-pup, just soaking up love once she knows she’s safe. Watching it happen is pure magic.<br/> What makes SallieMae so special:<br/> • A true shelter favorite<br/> • Fully vetted and ready to go home<br/> • Incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving<br/> • Very smart and eager to connect<br/> • Beautiful inside and out — especially those eyes <br/><br/> Important notes:<br/>• SallieMae is dog selective<br/>• She was cat tested and was very afraid of cats, so a cat-free home is best<br/>We are urgently looking for a home for SallieMae.
