Breed: Mixed breed, best guess is Staffordshire Terrier and possibly Lab?

DOB: approx 03/25/2022 (vet estimated 2 - 3 years old)

Weight: 55 lbs

Likes: Snacks, toys, cuddles with foster mom!

Energy Level: Salem loves to play and to run around in a fenced yard, but she also has a couch potato side where she loves to just curl up next to her foster mom and hang out.

Housebroken: Yes! Salem goes to the door when she needs to go out and potty. She is also crate trained and has never made a mess in her crate.

Medical notes: Salem has been seen by our vets and has received a clean bill of health! She has had all of her vaccines, has been spayed and microchipped, and she tested negative for heartworms and other parasites.

Foster Notes: Salem was found as a stray and had been hanging around Old Salem in Winston-Salem for about a week before she came into foster care. She likely hasn't had a lot of experience with social situations, so she is still learning. Salem does GREAT with all the people she has met. She will still bark when she is unsure of something or doesn't know what to do. Salem needs a slow introduction to other dogs, but once she makes a friend, she loves to wrestle and play! She is also very content to hang out and play by herself. She LOVES toys and is a heavy chewer. Salem would do great with someone who can continue her socialization and take her on fun adventures!
