Last week people kept posting about two dogs hanging in an industrial area of pineville. Very scared, very hungry, and one dog very very matted. After a week of no luck capturing these babies by anyone including animal control who set a trap, Teresa and Kelly of Tucker K9 search and rescue coordinated with us that if they could trap them, would we give them a place to land. Within a day I had Vinny to South Charlotte Animal Hospital to get vaccines so we could then take him to Furever Blessed grooming in Indian Trail. Our next partner Monroe Spay Neuter clinic will be doing both neuters in October. <br/><br/>Both are boys, Vinny is a 1-2 yr old blue Merle shihpoo, Sal is a 1-2 yr old white and black spaniel mix. Both boys get very car sick and are petrified of humans but are very sweet at the same time. Poor Vinny had so much debris in his fur that he has sores all over him. Right now the safest place for them is here since our facility is escape proof. But if anyone would like to start socializing them during our morning feedings you’re welcome to come hold them or pet them or try putting harness and leash on. Thanks to all our partners!
