Saki's Story
Meet Saki!

Saki is a sweet and loyal girl who's crate trained and understands the routine well. She happily goes to her crate for meals or quiet time, especially if you're heading out for errands. Like many shepherds, she thrives when near her people.

She's fully potty trained and has her own way of letting you know when it’s time to go out—usually with a whine, a paw at the door, or an intense “look.” She absolutely loves having the freedom to go in and out at will, especially in cooler weather.

Saki is a big fan of the outdoors! Whether it’s chasing a ball, playing with other dogs, barking at squirrels, or just soaking up the sun, she’s happiest when she can be outside enjoying nature.

At night, Saki sleeps soundly and peacefully. She prefers to have access to check on the household—especially if there are kids around—often choosing a cozy spot on the couch.

Cuddles and kisses are Saki’s love language. She adores being close to her people and will shower you with affection.

She's good on a leash but can get nervous at the beginning of a walk, sometimes wanting to return home. We believe this stems from her past experiences, but she's slowly learning to trust again with patience and reassurance.

Saki loves children and is particularly sensitive to their emotions—she'll let you know if one is upset and is always ready to provide comfort during thunderstorms.

She’s respectful in the house and doesn’t chew things up, though every now and then she might sneak off with a shoe—likely her way of asking you not to leave!

Important note: Saki is obsessed with balls—but she cannot have tennis balls, as she’ll shred them in seconds. We’ve found a few durable options made for strong chewers that hold up well.

Saki enjoys a balanced lifestyle—she plays hard and naps hard. A yard would be ideal for her, as she loves the freedom and stimulation of being outside.

She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and doesn’t react to fence reactivity from others—she just minds her own business.

For the safety of our beloved rescue dogs all adoptions require a completed application, reference checks and a final contract signed basically promising you will never neglect the dog. Our application to adopt can be easily found at www.jackjackspack.org.com or by requesting one by emailing brendajackjacks@yahoo.com

Once your application has been approved one of our team members will contact you to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each animal based on each individual animal.
