Sake's Story

Sake came to us with her brother Sushi. They were around 6 weeks old when they were surrendered. She is currently a year old. Sake weighs 23lbs. And while we aren't exactly sure her breed (especially when she looks nothing like her brother, we assume a Terrier/Chihuahua mix.

Sake has megasophogus, a congenital condition in which the esophagus is enlarged making swallowing difficult. Her condition is more mild than her brother's. She can eat from a raised feeder but can drink water fine. She does have a custom Bailey chair however we have only used it once. We will donate to her adopter just in case she needs it later. However there is a chance she will outgrow ME.

Sake is a very playful active and curious puppy. She is full of energy. She will need a very active family and she is great with other dogs.

Sake may have a disability, but it does not hold her back. She will need an experienced adopter, someone with patience and someone willing to understand ME and all the hardships that come with it. But having a disabled pet can be very rewarding.

Sake is spayed, microchiped, and vaccinated.
