Saint's Story

Saint is a 3-year-old tan pit bull with a heart just as big as his smile. He was originally adopted from us as a puppy, but after an unexpected adventure that brought him back into our care, Saint is once again looking for a place to call home — and this time, he’s hoping it’s forever.

Saint is a happy, affectionate boy who absolutely loves people. He greets everyone with full-body wiggles, excited hops, and the kind of enthusiasm that makes you feel like the most important person in the world. If you’re looking for a dog who is thrilled to see you every single day, Saint will happily take that job.

He has done well with other dogs and children, making him a great fit for many different families. While he hasn’t been very interested in toys during his time here, we suspect that’s just the stress of the shelter environment. Once he settles into a home and feels comfortable, we think his playful, silly side will really start to shine.

Because of his previous adventure, Saint will need a secure fenced-in yard to help keep his curious spirit safe while he enjoys the outdoors.

Saint is ready to leave shelter life behind and start fresh with a family who will love him for the wonderful dog he is. If you’re looking for a loyal, joyful companion, Saint might just be your guy.
