SAHARA B. BRANCA Poodle & Chihuahua Mix Cathedral City, CA

Sahara Branca is a 7 1/2-month-old female currently weighing 11 pounds with adult expected weight to be 14 -15 pound range. This adorable female pup has the appearance of a Yorkie, but she is actually a Poodle mix. Photo's 1 - 4 are of Sahara the 5th is her momma Kiki, a poodle/coton de tulear, and the 6th her daddy, a Chihuahua mix. Sahara has the coloring and markings of a Yorkie!

Sahara is not only cute but also incredibly intelligent and eager to please. She has a friendly and gentle nature and gets along well with other dogs. She enjoys going for walks (walks like a 'show pony') and loves to play with other pups. With a little training and patience, she will make a wonderful companion and beloved family member. One advantage of her mixed breed is that she does not shed, is hypo-allergenic, making her a low-maintenance companion with grooming appointments about every 3 months.

Sahara was just owner surrendered to us on 1/26/24 due to eviction but spent the first 6 months of her life loving on her 3 1/2-year-old non-verbal human. Sahara is with our AMAZING foster Mrs. Branca. In a week she's mastered leash walking and is being fed top-notch homemade food, full of vitamins and minerals, which will help Sahara grow in a beautiful new coat. She's a lil scruffy PUPPY now but just wait until she blossoms into a stunner!

You are: A couple, retired or semi-retired with one adult home all day, self-employed with one adult home all day, or a blended family with one adult home all day; Have another small dog who is older and likes to play; Aware of coyotes, snakes and birds of prey and do not let your dog out without supervision. So far Sahara has done great in the car. Have children or grandkids who will be gentle with a puppy, just lost one of your fur babies and are looking for another to give your heart to? We would like a more laid back home so that she can quietly adjust. Are you Sahara's new family?

Sahara was fully vetted on Friday including: all shots/rabies, is Heartworm Negative via blood test to Antech Laboratory, Fecal to Laboratory (no worms or giardia), Spayed & Microchipped with Home Again. Sahara will get her booster (2nd set) of shots this weekend. Sahara was examined for Heart Murmur, lungs, ACL potential (legs and knees), deciduous teeth, and complete body exam. She passed her exam 100%. Sahara will need booster shots and a 3-year rabies in one year. Other than that she is fully vetted and you need to do nothing as we have done it all.
