Meet Sage!<br/><br/>Sage is an absolutely beautiful German Shepherd pup, born at the end of May. Sage is a sweet, sensitive pup who’s just starting to discover the joys of being a dog. He’s been in foster care about a month, and he has begun to show his playful side at home. Still, Sage is a cautious guy — quick movements or new situations send him back to his safe spot, and he prefers to warm up slowly on his own terms.<br/><br/>Sage loves other dogs. He’s doing wonderfully with his foster family’s older German Shepherd and will need another confident social dog in the home to help him grow into a confident social adult. This is a requirement for adoption.<br/><br/>Sage will thrive with an experienced, patient adopter who understands shy dogs and can give him the time and space he needs to blossom. A quieter home without young children would be best. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED!
