Hey there! I’m Sadie—a 2-year-old terrier mix tipping the scales at 35 pounds of pure wiggles, whiskers, and wonder. My life’s mission? To be your sidekick in mischief, snuggles, and adventures big and small.<br/><br/>If you love tug-of-war, we’re basically soulmates—I play with humans and pups like it’s my full-time job. I get so excited I might sneak in a lick or two instead of tugging… oops! I just want ALL the affection.<br/><br/>Nature calls? I zoom to the back door and do my business in my favorite leafy spot. I’m fully potty-trained and proud of it! I’m also a certified velcro dog—I stick to your side like peanut butter on toast. I may wander around once I know the yard, but I’m back at your feet in a flash. I just like being with my people.<br/><br/>Bedtime? I’m a champ in my crate, especially if you toss a blanket over the top to signal “sleep mode.” No blanket? Minor protest—but only because I love you that much.<br/><br/>I’m endlessly curious, which means chewables and counter mysteries are tempting—but with some guidance, I’m a quick learner. Take me on long walks, challenge me with puzzles, and watch me shine. I already know sit and lay down, though I may get extra enthusiastic if another dog passes by… gotta say hi!<br/><br/>So… are you ready for a loyal, goofy, snuggle-loving pup who’ll stick with you through thick and thin? I’m wagging, wiggling, and ready to leap straight into your heart!<br/><br/>If you would like to be considered as a potential adopter for one of our great dogs, please go to our website- (SEE PINNED POST) and submit an application. Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. Please make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions. Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home. Meet and greets take place at our adoption center located in Milwaukee. If you are proceeding with adopting a Lucky Mutt, we will require the dog to have a Martingale collar at the time of adoption, to ensure the dogs safety during the transition to a new home. <br/><br/>Current Adoption Fees Are:<br/>$400+tax for puppies to 3 years old<br/>$350+tax for ages 4-7<br/>$250+tax for ages 8 and up<br/>Bonded pairs vary<br/><br/>The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs.
