Keokuk Animal Services's Adoption Policy
Keokuk Animal Services has many dogs and cats available for adoption. Potential adopters are encouraged to visit Keokuk Animal Services to find a special friend that will be just right for their family.
The first step in the adoption process is filling out our adoption application which helps us help you find the animal that's right for you. Our adoption fee of $150 for dogs and $100 for cats and covers the animal's first visit to the veterinarian, with a worming, first feline or canine vaccination, rabies vaccination, and spaying or neutering. If you live within the city limits of Keokuk we also provide your first city license at no charge.
