Sadie's Story

Sadie came to us as a part of a group pulled from a hoarding home that had caught on fire. Due to her past, she is very timid and shy. Sadie will need a patient adopter that understands she had previously lived a tough life and it will take her time to warm up and trust a new person.

This girl is estimated to be about 6 years old and is a Chihuahua mix. She is very timid and shy at first. She does not like to be held but once comfortable will gladly sit next to or on her human's lap. She loves cuddle time and prefers to sleep under the blankets on the bed with her people. Sadie had a rough start to her life and limited human contact so it takes her a while to warm up. She is good with friendly dogs her size after a warm up period so she knows she is safe. Sadie likes to hide at first and can often be found napping behind the couch where its calm. She is dog door trained but will need patience in a new home learning a new backyard.

She has been fully vetted which includes spayed, vaccinated, 4dx tested negative and is on heartworm prevention.

Her ideal home would be without smaller children due to her timid nature. She prefers calm environments with someone who will let her decompress at her own rate.

If interested in Sadie please email us at Info@pbanimaladvocates.org for more information or to fill out our adoption application.
