Sadie's Story

Sadie was found running the streets of Detroit, alone and severely underweight. Despite everything she had been through, her gentle spirit never faded. Today, she's healthy, safe, and ready for the one thing she's been waiting for — a home of her own.

Sadie is a beautiful 2–3-year-old German Shepherd with intelligence, heart, and so much potential. Around 50 pounds, she's the perfect medium-sized companion who is ready to finally settle into a loving, committed home.

She is house trained, crate trained, and knows sit, shake, and down. Sadie enjoys her toys, a game of fetch, and most of all, simply being near her person. After some playtime, she's happy to relax quietly with a bone by your side. She is a loyal, thoughtful girl who bonds deeply and just wants someone to call her own.

Sadie would do best as the only pet so she can be your number one girl and receive the one-on-one time she truly deserves. A fenced yard is required, and German Shepherd experience is strongly preferred.

Sadie is ready for a home as soon as possible. She has come so far and deserves a calm, loving place where she can feel safe, loved, and finally home. This sweet, resilient girl is waiting for her person.

Adoption fee: $250

Apply to adopt at rescueofhope.com/adopt
