Sable

Sable is NOT YET part of the Serendipity German Shepherd Dog Rescue (SGSDR) program but is being listed as a courtesy for the current owners in hopes of finding a direct adopter for her (adoption from the current caretakers or through SGSDR)<br/><br/>Sable is a sweet 1 yr old spayed female German Shepherd that is looking for a new home. She is currently located in the Springfield IL area. Like most young GSD's, Sable is full of fun energy and would love an active home where she gets to go on walks/runs, and where plenty of play time is a daily occurence. Sable loves playing with other dogs, but can be a bit rambunctious in her play style so she may be best suited with another young dog of a similar size. She tries to play with the cats in her current home, but they're not too keen on the idea...however she seems to be quite cat safe as well. :-) Sable has been around older kids and does well - she would likely be ok with smaller kids but her energy may be a bit much for them.<br/><br/>Sable is house and crate trained, and it is recommended that she be kept in a crate when you're not home for her safety and that of your house. She's quite happy to go in her crate and sees it as a safe space for her to rest in.
