Meet Momma Sophie's beautiful babies. Momma Sophie is a gorgeous yellow lab mix. She was a stray in the bayou who was extremely pregnant who was taken in by a Good Samaritan who has stepped up to foster this sweet family. Momma Sophie is around 2 years old and 40lbs lbs. Dad is a medium sized mix breed we believe that's also a feral stray in the area. We do believe these pups will likely mature to 40-50ish lbs as adults. The babies are 9 weeks old and thriving. They will complete their required vetting 4/26/24 and will then be adoption ready. . These puppies are highly socialized and will fit well into any family!
Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply!
All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter.
Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up.
