Good manners, mellow and calm but playful when the mood strikes. She really enjoys taking walks and does very well on leash; she is a great camping and hiking partner. She is happy to “go” and rides great in a car, if you’re looking for an adventure buddy, she’s your girl. <br/>Sable does very well with other dogs and really enjoys their company, although she loves being where her humans are, she also enjoys running and playing with her furfriends. She would do well with another dog in the home of similar size and energy as well as a fenced yard.<br/>She is being fostered with young kids and really enjoys their company. She has done ok with cats but because she is cat specific, we do not recommend a home with cats. <br/>Sable is a very sweet, gentle, fun, loving girl who will make the perfect family dog. .<br/><br/>Sable’s foster says, “She is quiet and gentle. Rarely barks, and has no crate anxiety. She prefers to be with her humans whatever they are doing.<br/>She has no accidents overnight, she goes to the door when she need to potty or will give you an elbow nudge.<br/>She gets along great with our dog who is also a female…Our dog can be bossy at times and Sable just rolls with it and is not phased one bit by her…She loves, loves to go on walks and can definitely go for long stretches (we've done about 5 miles in one stretch and she is smiling the whole time and wants to keep going)…She wants to be loved and know that she is safe wherever she is…She will need someone to be patient with her as she is timid at first with male humans…She is gentle and patient with my kids and they adore her and love to help brush her….She rides amazing in the car and loads up like she's done it her whole life!…She has loved camping with us and splashing in the water at the lake. She is such a sweet girl and deserves the absolute best.
