Ryland's Story

Meet Ryland! Little man Ryland came to us from a rural Georgia shelter where he had been brought in as a stray. No one is safe in these overcrowded shelters. So even though he was just a puppy, Ryland was at risk of euthanasia if someone didn't come save him. Luckily this shelter has an amazing group of volunteers who network the dogs tirelessly and we learned of Ryland in time to save him Ryland is a sweet, sweet 10 month old puppy (as of November 2024) who loves to play in the yard with his foster siblings and then coming running over to get cuddles from foster mom. He truly is equal parts fun and affection! He's done great playing with dogs of all sizes and is working hard on learning all of the other things perfect puppies need to know. Our sweet boy Ryland truly would make an amazing addition to just about any family! Interested in adopting? Rescue Me Ga Inc's Adoption Policy

We have an application process that we require for any adoption. The application can be found on our website at www.rmgdogs.org - its the first step in our process and required before we set up a time for you to meet the dog you are interested in …. ALL of our dogs are completely vetted - all vaccines - spay or neuter - dewormings - chip - heart worm tested and treated if needed and ready to be loved. WE are foster based which means our dogs are in homes or temporary boarding when we rescue them -- we know their personalities and what would be their best fit! Our dogs come from a rural Georgia shelter and often we take in surrenders from families facing difficult situations….. WE do post many dogs still in need at animal control as well as all who have been saved already that are in foster homes. We do NOT operate a facility where you can visit the dogs unless you contact us to possibly meet one already in a foster

RESCUE ME GEORGIA is a 501c3 non profit rescue group dedicated to saving dogs from a small rural shelter and county outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Since our start November of 2011, we have saved more than 5000 animals in need and have been able to be a part of so many lives changed!
