Ryder's Story

Ryder is a hound mix estimated at 7 years old. He came to us from a local county animal shelter, and is now ready for his forever home. When he was first rescued, he had many lumps and bumps all over his head, face, and body. He also had an injury to the face that left his bottom gumline exposed as well as a hole in his tongue. He has since had surgery to remove all visible bumps and was neutered. Ryder would love a home that can provide him with plenty of enrichment like outside activity, puzzle toys, snuffle mats, etc. He absolutely loves food and is very treat motivated. He will go in his crate for treats, and sleeps there quietly in his foster home. He is a tall guy so a 6ft wooden fence is recommended if he will be off leash outside in the yard. He would adore an active family that loves the outdoors. His nose cannot get enough of those outside smells. Ryder has tested positive for heartworms. He has finished his heartworm treatment.

Please visit our website www.adoptionfirstanimalrescue.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
