Ruthie's Story

Ruthie – Female Pit Mix | DOB: 3/1/2025 | ~50 lbs | Moderate Energy

Ruthie is a sweet, affectionate young dog who brings a wonderful balance of playful energy and relaxed companionship. She enjoys a daily walk or play session with her canine friends and then settles nicely in the house. Once the day winds down, she’s happiest curled up on the couch close to her people.

Ruthie is fully house trained, comfortable in her crate, and does well when left alone. She walks nicely on leash and passes other dogs calmly, though she may pause to observe them at first.

In her foster home, Ruthie lives comfortably with other dogs and shows a balanced, appropriate play style. When she has encountered the resident cat, she has simply ignored her with no negative reaction. She has also spent time around children and done well.

Like many young dogs, Ruthie can be a little cautious in brand new situations, but with gentle reassurance she adjusts quickly and settles in well. Once comfortable, she becomes a devoted and affectionate companion who enjoys being close to her people.

Ruthie would thrive in a home that will continue to provide routine, daily exercise, and affection as she continues to mature.

All of our dogs are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and on preventatives.

For more information, visit our website: https://buddyandfriendsma.org

To be considered, an application must be submitted at: https://buddyandfriendsma.org/adopt

MA License Number: 52
