Ruth Hazel's Story

Ruth Hazel is a 2 year old female pittie mix who came to us as an emaciated stray, seemingly discarded after weening puppies. No owner came forward for Ruth Hazel, and after some TLC (which included gaining over 10 pounds to now be at a healthy 48 lbs), she’s now ready for a family to love her forever. Ruthie is a sweet, gentle girl who appreciates any and all attention she receives. It’s like she now knows she’s safe and cared for. 🥹 Ruthie also knows how to sit and takes treats gently. We haven’t tested her with other animals—a meet and greet with any existing dogs in a potential new home will be required to ensure a good fit. Could Ruth Hazel be the one for you?
