Ruth

Ruth was born under a shed to a very sweet abandoned mama chihuahua mix who did a good job of keeping her little pups safe and warm. When mama and her 2 week old puppies were discovered, we brought them to safety where they were raised in a loving foster home.<br/><br/>Ruth is incredibly cute, sugar sweet, super shy but gaining confidence day by day. She thrives on reassurance and positive praise. Ruth is super treat motivated. She loves belly rubs! Ruth gets pretty excited about her "sniffari" walks, loves her toys and chewies. <br/><br/>Her ideal family will be sensitive to her need to "go VERY slow and steady" and she could benefit from having a calm gentle dog to build her confidence and guide her. She gets nervous with loud and sudden noises. She likes to watch before doing and will stare right into your soul.<br/>Ruth is crate trained and potty trained (occasional accidents) in her foster home but as with any new situation, dogs/puppies, there will be an adjustment period.<br/><br/>Local Adoptions (within SF Bay Area/South Bay) are preferred so we can provide post-adoption support for our pets and families.
