MEET RUSTY FOSTERED IN EAST BEAND NC!<br/><br/>Rusty is a six-year-old, 23-pound red cocker spaniel. Rusty is looking for his forever home with a family that is active or has a playful pup that is chill with other dogs. <br/><br/>Rusty follows his foster mom around the house. He loves to play with the other pups but likes to claim his space and toys. Did we mention .... he loves his toys!!!! Rusty likes to sleep in the big bed but will also sleep in his big fluffy bed. Rusty is crate trained, housetrained and is a lovely dog. <br/><br/>Rusty is not suited for children under the age of ten and the children must be respectful to dogs and be age 10 and above. <br/><br/>Rusty will do best in a fenced in yard. He currently uses the doggie door and plays out in the fenced yard. <br/><br/>Rusty is not suited for apartment living. No exceptions on this. <br/><br/>We conduct vet referenced, home visits, application process that you can obtain on our Petfinder page and personal interviews.

WELCOME TO OUR POTENTIAL ADOPTER(S). WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER, FOSTER BASED 501C3 RESCUE. OUR DOGS COME FROM HIGH KILL SHELTERS AND OWNER SURRENDERS. WE SPECIALIZE IN COCKER SPANIELS AND SMALLER DOGS. WE ARE A SMALL BUT MIGHTY RESCUE AND OUR GOAL IS TO FIND THE BEST HOME AND FIT FOR OUR DOGS IN OUR CARE. WE DO CONDUCT HOME VISITS (VIRTUAL DUE TO COVID), VET REFERENCES AND INTERVIEW THE PROSPECTIVE ADOPTIVE FAMILY. WE ARE VERY THOROUGH AND TRANSPARENT AS WELL.
