I'm so enjoying getting to love on this sweet boy.<br/>This is Rusty ??, a very loyal, lovable 2 year old mutt, who is good with most other dogs, especially puppies that need a big brother. But is a bit hesitant with people for the first good while. When I first brought him into the apartment, it was clear he was overwhelmed and had never been in a real home that he was comfortable in. He would startle very easy at the drop of literally a hat. Over time, he was aclimatized to the noises of a home and of people that are safe and has made enourmous strides to conquering the big scary world ? He definitely chooses flight over fight. Once he trusts you, he is nothing but a big love bug. He truly needs a full-time foster as kennel life isn’t best for any dog. He’s very clean in his kennel most of the time but still will potty inside if he really needs to so scheduled crate training needed. He can jump 40 inch fence if he wants but does very well on leash with commands. He knows sit, lay, stay, come, off, kennel up, go potty, go to bed, and more. He is a very smart dog that picks up on vocal cues quickly.
