Meet Rusty

Meet Rusty! Rusty is a one year old, wire haired dachshund mix. He loves to be held and would rather be with his person than anywhere else in the world. Rusty does get along well with dogs of all sizes and with cats. He's potty trained and we're working on kennel training. I'm sure he would much rather be in bed with his person than in a kennel though. Rusty is up to date with his shots, heartworm negative, and will be neutered on October 10th. After the 10th, he'll be ready for his new home. Rusty has some separation anxiety and may do best in a home with another dog friend and where someone is there most of the time.
