Hello there! My name is Russell. I am not even a year old, but I have already been through so much. I came to Wayside Waifs when a shelter in another state ran out of room for me. I was so scared after being sent clear across the country, and I was quickly enrolled in the Confidence College program at Wayside. This program helps dogs like me become less fearful and more confident. Since enrolling in the program I have learned that I enjoy being with people and I absolutely LOVE being with other dogs. In fact, I gain so much confidence from other dogs that I must go home with another dog! I also love toys. I love to play fetch with sticks and tennis balls and to play with squeaky toys. I have also been know to chill on the couch and watch tv with my friends.

I can't wait to find a home and family of my very own. I need a family who will be kind and patient with me and give me the time I need to relax and trust. I promise to repay my family with love, laughter, and loyalty. If I sound like the dog for you, please come in and ask to meet me, Russell. You won't regret it!

ADOPTION INFORMATION: All Wayside Waifs pets are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations prior to adoption. Please note that in order to make the best match possible, potential adopters must come to the Wayside Waifs in person to meet with an adoption counselor and complete the adoption process. All members of the household (including other pets, if possible) should be present to ensure the chosen pet is compatible with everyone. We do not place holds or do adoptions over the phone and we do not ship pets.
