Russ's Story
Russ is a beautiful, happy, playful, intelligent, active young Dalmatian. He was found as a stray in a small rural, LA community + placed in the shelter. There was no foot traffic or visitors so no one saw him. They were about to kill him when he was located by a rescuer nearby. Terrie placed him with a loving local family who set out to help him. It was discovered that he was very low HW positive. Treatment was begun immediately using 400 mg of Doxycyline daily and a ProHeart shot. This is standard protocol for slow kill for such low infestation.

For more information, contact Jeannine at jeannine@dalmatianrescueco.org. Adoption $250. If interested in this dog, please go to www.dalmatianrescueco.org and submit an application for adoption. Under Adoptions, please read our adoption policy.
