Rupert's Story

Howdy y'all! I'm Rupert. I was found on the side of a country road one day, lying in a ditch. A super cool dude picked me up and took me straight to ARFhouse and let's face it, with a face like this, they weren't going to turn me away! I am a sweet young Lab/Pit mix; approximately 4-5 years old and I currently weigh 65 lbs.

I'm about as sweet as they come, careful 'cause you might get a cavity! I am playful, exuberant, energetic, affectionate, friendly, happy...I could go on and on for days but you get the idea. I am your typical puppy; lots of energy and I could use a little training, just your basic training, nothing too crazy. I am a very smart boy, so I will learn quickly (especially if there are TREATS involved!). I get along well with other dogs and could play for days. Because of my size, age, and energy level, I would not be suitable for an apartment; I will need a fenced yard to run and play as I please. I would love to go on long walks and trips to the park, then snuggle up on the couch at night to watch movies. I promise to be the best boy ever if you give me the chance.

The fee to adopt Rupert is $200.00; this includes spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations, heartworm test, a microchip, and all of our dogs are up-to-date on heartworm, flea and tick prevention. If you are interested in adopting Rupert, please visit our website. www.arfhouse.org and fill out an adoption application.

**Please Note: Rupert is currently located at our facility in Sherman, Texas. Once we have your application, our Adoption Coordinator will follow up with you ASAP with any questions she may have, or to set up a meet-and-greet.

**Please visit our website or follow us on Facebook and Instagram to find out when the next date and location of our Petsmart adoption event.
