Runtus's Story

Meet Runtus!

Runtus may be the smallest of the bunch, but her personality is anything but small. This adorable little goober is happiest right in the middle of the action — she wants to play with everyone and keep up with the big dogs no matter what her short legs say about it.

She proudly steals sticks and pinecones from pups twice her size and is quickly learning how to put her muscles to work in a good game of tug. She may not run the fastest or jump the highest, but her tiny hops and determined attitude make her impossible not to smile at.

When playtime is over, Runtus turns into a total sweetheart. She loves treats, snuggles, and curling up close to her people just as much as she loves wrestling with her friends. She’s a quieter girl overall, but she shows her affection in gentle ways — and those oversized feet and perfect little toe beans make her extra charming.

Runtus is doing wonderfully in her foster home. She’s great on a leash, comfortable in her kennel, and making steady progress with potty training. She plays well with big dogs and is learning to be gentle with the resident Chihuahua (who she originally assumed was another toy!).

If you’re looking for a playful but cuddly companion with a lot of heart packed into a small package, Runtus is ready to hop right into your life — and onto your couch.

Apply to meet/adopt her here - https://muttmisfits.org/contact/adoption-application/

Runtus is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
Her adoption fee is $250.

#muttmisfits #adoptdontshop #petadoption #rescuepuppy #fosterpuppy
