Runtus is an adorable 10 month old, 36 pound lowrider girl with a DOB of 10/29/2025. She may have started out as the runt of the bunch, but she’s growing into those oversized paws and has a personality that’s anything but small!<br/><br/>This little goober loves being right in the middle of the action! She plays with dogs big and small, proudly steals sticks and pinecones from pups twice her size, and enjoys a good game of tug. Her short legs might not make her the fastest runner or highest jumper, but her determined little hops are guaranteed to make you smile. And if there’s water nearby? Even better! Runtus LOVES water! <br/><br/>Runtus can be slow to warm up to new people, but don’t let that hold you back from getting to know her. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet and affectionate side comes shining through. She loves treats, snuggles, and curling up close to her people after a busy day of playing.<br/><br/>She’s doing wonderfully in her foster home! Runtus is potty trained, kennel trained, and great on a leash. She gets along well with her canine foster siblings and has even learned to be gentle with the resident Chihuahua, whom she originally mistook for another toy. She is also currently trained on an invisible fence.<br/><br/>After almost a year in rescue, Runtus deserves a family who will give her a little time to settle in, plenty of opportunities to play, and a comfy spot to curl up when the day is done. She and Athena have waited long enough for their happily ever after.
