Meet Rune – our free spirit <br/><br/>Rune is a 2-year-old husky mix who is finally learning what it means to live. For her entire life, Rune only knew the inside of a pen in a hoarding situation—no love, no freedom, no soft place to land. When we pulled her into rescue, her belly was painfully swollen. We thought she might be pregnant, but the truth was even sadder: parasites & infection, not puppies. After vet care, love, and time, Rune is now healthy, spayed, and ready for her forever!<br/><br/>What Rune is looking for:<br/>A home with a fenced yard (this girl adores her freedom!)<br/>A patient family who understands that trust takes time<br/>Someone who can give her safe spaces while she settles in<br/> <br/>Rune isn’t a flight risk, but she will play an impressive game of tag when she’s feeling playful. She likes to be nearby, even if not quite within reach—she’s still learning that humans mean safety and love.
