Rumba

Please meet Rumba, a 1.5 years old, spayed, vetted, vaccinated and microchipped female. She is about 44 cms tall and weights approximately 14 kgs.<br/>Rumba comes from a difficult past, but luckily has an excellent future. She was found hit by a car and abandoned with shattered pelvis to her imminent death. Out volunteers contacted several vets, before finding the ONE. This kind doctor accepted Rumba in his care. Then, to everyone’s horror, it was discovered that Rumba was pregnant at the time of the accident and all of her pups passed away inside her womb. So, the first order of business was to deal with that. Then the time came to repair the damage done to her pelvis. After surgery and complex rehabilitation (massages, laser therapy, physical therapy) we are pleased to say that unless you know her story, you will never guess what Rumba was through such an ordeal.<br/>So, enough of sad stuff, because Rumba really is the happiest, friendliest, most loving dog who is full of life! She is very easy going, curious, enjoys playing with other dogs, ignores cats, LOVES people and especially adores kids. She is not dominant, but not fearful either- excellently balanced temperament. Rumba is familiar with living inside, accustomed to urban noises, rides great in a car. <br/>Rumba is a velcro dog. She loves to be around her humans and will gladly jump on your lap. She soaks in human attention and is not shy to ask for pets. The best family for Rumba will be the one who will spend enough time with her, and will be able enjoy her companionship, just as she will enjoy theirs.
