Ruger GSD TX's Story
Ruger is about 2 years old and 83 pounds of German Shepherd excellence, but somewhere along the way life decided to throw a few mechanical issues into the mix. When he showed up at the vet, the report looked something like this:

• Two Pelvic fractures

•Front elbow basically doing its own thing

BUT... the important thing is the rescue people got him all fixed up.

The elbow had surgery (they installed some fancy hardware in there), and all is healed and ready for Rehab and strength exercises. His hip fractures are on non weight bearing areas so have healed with cage rest.

Now here’s the important part about him...

Despite the fact that his body has been through a bit of nonsense, his personality is top notch.

✔ Extremely sweet

✔ Easy to handle

✔ Friendly with people

✔ And yes... even met cats with zero issues

Basically he is what you’d call a very good boy who just needs a little rehab and a lot of love.

So if you’re looking for a loyal German Shepherd with a great heart and a slightly goofy walk, who is house trained and crate trained. Ruger might be your guy.

Apply to adopt Ruger at www.northstarpets.org

Just make sure you ask for RUGER GSD TX.
