Ruger's Story
Ruger is an approximately 2 year old, 80 lbs. stunningly beautiful boy. Ruger is reserved with people he doesn't know and will need time to warm up. We recommend a low traffic home. He will need an experienced large breed dog owner who understands what leadership means and how to provide a structured home environment with rules and boundaries. Ruger can be selective with other dogs but has opened up more and made some doggie friends. If he should go to a home with another dog, it should be a well balanced female. Ruger should not go to a home with children or other small animals. He has been fostered by our trainer and has learned excellent manners. He walks well on leash, does well in his crate, and shows great obedience with a skilled handler. Ruger has been ecollar trained and we recommend continuing his training. He will come with training support so he and his new adopter(s) can be set up for success. <br/>If you're interested in a meet and greet, please go to our website and fill out an adoption application www.wallflowersshine.com/application. No apartments, please. Thank you.
