Ruger's Story
Ruger came from a dumping ground in the Rio Grand Valley. Kind people were able to catch him and send him north to Black Dogs & Company Rescue along with his friend, Bullet, who is also available for adoption. Ruger has been neutered and vaccinated and is currently being treated for heart worms. He is a young adult male, estimated to be around 3 years old. He is grumpy when other dogs approach while he is eating but otherwise seems to be dog friendly. He did well with the children in his foster home in Texas. It is unknown how he is with cats. Fenced yard required.

To apply to adopt, please email us at rescueblackdogs@yahoo.com to request an application.
