Ruger loves everyone he meets, kids, other dogs, and all the people in between. His gentle and social personality makes him the perfect companion for family life or anyone looking for a loyal, loving friend.<br/><br/>Don’t let his age fool you. Ruger enjoys walks (3 miles are a walk in the park, no pun intended!), cuddle time, and being part of the action. He recently had a dental, so his smile is as healthy as his heart. <br/><br/>He’s feeling great and is ready to find his forever family who will adore his easygoing, loving nature. Ruger gets excited around cats but is only interested in the chasing part. In his current foster home, he has learned to give space, so we are confident it's something he can learn in his furever home as well. Rugar is housetrained, neutered and UTD on his shots. Ruger does like to sleep on the bed with you and sometimes under your blanket to cuddle. <br/><br/>Adopt Ruger today and add a little extra love to your life! ??<br/> <br/><br/><br/>An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time. <br/>We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.<br/>If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.<br/>Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.<br/><br/>Thanks for thinking adoption and Good Luck!
