Rufus's Story
Rufus is almost 2 years old and was previously an outside dog raised with his brother Waylon He is a gorgeous full blooded Bloodhound that had 10 acres to run free, but the owners are moving to a place that was not going to even have a yard to play and run in so they were surrendered to our rescue! Upon initial exam, Rufus and Waylon both had pretty bad upper respiratory infections and it became very clear they needed Entripion surgery to correct it as it can be very painful if left untreated! He went in for surgery on 11/28/2025 and after recovery and a round of Doxycycline, this handsome fella is recovered and would love to be your outside companion!
