Hi, I'm Rufus. My foster mom says that it is no coincidence that my name rhymes with goofus and doofus!! She says it because I'm a total goof ball. I'm just happy all the time and I do a lot of goofy things.<br/><br/>I have long legs and kind of look like a giraffe when I run. I'm fast and love to chase and be chased by other dogs. I'm just happy and love everyone. I have not been around cats yet. But I probably would love them too. <br/><br/>Everyone who meets me LOVES me. I'm quite the character. <br/><br/>I'm a champion snuggler. At night if you want a warm body next to you, I'm your guy. <br/><br/>I'm a beautiful, tall thin, tri-colored hound. Like most hounds, I'm a total sweetheart.<br/><br/> I'm about 5-6 years and about 55ish lbs. I'm a little overweight right now because I love to eat! <br/><br/>I'm already neutered and up to date on shots.<br/><br/>I was initially rescued from a shelter in NC. My previous owner was not allowed to have pets where we were living. So I had to go. Then I got adopted to a great home where I lived for about 4 years.
