Meet Rufus. He is a playful and energetic fella who would love an active home with a large yard where he can run. He is trained to a doggy door in his foster home, and is smart and eager to learn. He needs a home of his own where he can show what a good boy he is!

Rufus is 6 months old, neutered, and is up to date on vaccines. He is very smart and eager to learn. Rufus would do best in a home without small children due to his play style.

Please include your veterinarian name, number and the name your current pets are listed under. Also please check your information carefully. All current pets must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Dogs must be on heart worm preventative. Our adoptable cats must live inside and adopters must agree not to declaw. If these criteria are not met, we will not process your application.

Adoption Process: This is not a first come, first serve organization. We will do our best to process applications within 48 business hours of receiving them. The application must be completed in full including first and last name, complete address including city and state, complete veterinarian information (this will be checked and all pets must be neutered or spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and dogs must be current on heartworm prevention) and the name of all current pets in the household. We are 100% volunteers and I will not subject anyone who is giving of themselves and their time to hostile conversations. Please be patient with us. We are not paid for our endless hours and are looking for the BEST home for the babies in our care.
