Her daughter, Frito, is also looking for a home, and while they don’t have to be adopted together, their bond is a beautiful reminder of Ruffles’ strength as a mom.<br/>Even after being let down by humans, Ruffles still craves affection. She wants nothing more than to be close to her people, soaking up love and attention like she’s been saving it all up. She knows how to sit, is kennel trained, and keeps her space clean—only having accidents if she’s dealing with an upset tummy.<br/>Ruffles has done well meeting other dogs, though she has a more confident, dominant personality. She’s also not shy about asking for attention—she’ll let out the cutest little yips when she wants some love. When it’s time to relax, her favorite place is the couch, cuddled up with a bone or right next to her person.<br/>She can be very excited and energetic when coming out of her kennel, but don’t let that fool you—she’s incredibly gentle when taking treats and shows a soft, sweet side that melts hearts quickly. A home without small animals is needed.
