Rue's Story

Rue is a 1 yr old funny, snuggly puppy with the happiest smile.
She was found all alone as a small puppy in a local river and miraculously rescued. Rue enjoys: being pet and scratched, chasing squirrels, playing with toys, chewing on bones, endlessly playing with other dogs, snuggling on the couch, puppy naps, and running around exploring the backyard. She has such a happy-go-lucky demeanor and is never upset. Rue is kennel trained and house trained and does not have accidents in the house. She is great at "sit" and politely offers her big paw to you to "shake." She is learning other fun commands too.
Rue is luckily heartworm negative and on a monthly preventative. Rue is up to date on all shots, spayed, and microchipped.

Rue would do well with a playful dog sibling, as she is still young and craves play time. She requires plenty of time fetching and running around the yard, as she is a larger girl with a lot of energy. However, she also loves a good, long nap. Rue is in the process of being leash trained, as she was never leashed for the first year of her life. She prefers to play with her toys and bones alone, as she will defend them from other dogs. While we don't know her exact breed, we guess possibly some mix of lab, heeler due to her coat and athletic nature.

If you're interested in meeting Rue & seeing if she's a good fit to be a part of your furever family, please complete our short, no obligation, adoption application found here: https://form.jotform.com/mustluvdogs/adoption-application

Please note that the majority of our dogs require a fully fenced yard or secured area, good veterinary history and references, as well as a life-long commitment to be a great family for your pup!

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED for her new furever family we require the following:

*Her adopter needs a fully secure/fenced yard.
* Experienced pet home with verifiable vet references/history preferred, but we realize that everyone has to start somewhere, so all applications will be considered.
*Verifiable good veterinary history INCLUDING regular vaccination/visits and Good Heartworm Prevention history is a MUST!
*Adopter must be able to have time to spend with the pup and be able to provide the pup a safe environment to live.
*ALL our dogs are expected to be primarily INSIDE dogs. They MUST sleep inside the home. We truly understand that some folks have working dogs (i.e. farmers, ranchers ,etc); however, the majority of our dogs have had tough life prior to rescue & we wish to ensure they are showered with LUV & maybe even a bit spoiled for the rest of their lives.

APPLY HERE: https://form.jotform.com/mustluvdogs/adoption-application

Other facts are also considered, including whether children or other pets are a good fit with the dog.

Must Luv Dogs Rescue reserves the right to deny any applications that we don't think are a good fit with the pup. Our first & foremost concern is the dog's best interest. It is our MISSION to place them in a home that is a great fit for their needs for a lifetime of luv & being part of a family.

*We will consider adoptions in any area; however, will do not ship or transport a puppy under the age of 12 mos. We will ONLY transport an adult dog on a transport approved by MLD, at adopter's expense.

Please note that all of our pets are in private foster homes. In order to reduce any stress or confusion for our pups, we require a completed, approved application BEFORE setting up a meeting for any of fur-babies. Alternatively, you are always welcome to come meet any of our pups at one of our regular Adoption Events. They are always posted on PetFinder OR on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/mustLUVdogs.org.

Finally, THANK YOU for considering Must Luv Dogs for your next pet.

NOTES:
*Most dogs require a fenced area in yard.
*Apartments may be okay for certain breeds IF nearby dog park or walking trails.
*ALL dogs must be INSIDE dogs.
*We are a DUE DILIGENCE Adoption Rescue.
*Must have good Vet history & Heartworm prevention is a MUST!
*ALL dogs are fully vetted, spay/neutered and microchipped.
