Rue's Story

My name is Rue, and even though I'm only six (in human years!), my life has already changed so much. I'm a pretty girl at a petite 50 lbs with a pretty yellow-red coat.

I have two new doggie friends, Benson and Gracie. They're always around, and they're pretty cool to hang out with. Just like them, I'm learning to come when my fosters call my name. Sometimes we all just lounge around together, soaking up the sun in the backyard. Napping is definitely one of my favorite activities!

My human says I'm a good girl on the leash. I don't pull, and I love sniffing all the interesting smells on our walks. The world is so full of new things to discover! I'm not really interested in chasing balls or chewing on bones, though. Or even those fluffy, squeaky things called "toys." I just like to explore, soak up the sunshine, and nap.

My human tells everyone they need to be patient with me because I'm slow to warm up to people. I used to live at a puppy mill and Lolin saved me. I’m getting braver every day that I get to experience life. And I know, deep down, that I will find my new home. It might be a slow process, but every day is better than the last. I’m so happy to be Rue, and to be loved.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
