Hi! My name is Rue! I'm a 2.5 year old female mixed breed dog! I've got shepherd & husky & a bunch of other breeds in me! :) I'm a happy dog! I'm very friendly with people & I love attention! I'm very loving! And I'm playful! I love to play fetch, ball & tug-of-war! I'm housetrained. I'll go to the door when I need to go outside. I usually go out every few hours during the day. I'm also crate trained! I ride well in a car! I've lived with cats & other dogs. I'm fine with the cats. Some dogs I don't like. I would do best as the only dog in the home. I've got tons of energy & I really need a person who can get me outside & exercise with me! I would love a fenced yard! I will jump on people & so I need some training on not to do that. I would knock a child down because I'm so exuberant & excited to see people! I'm already spayed & I weigh about 65 lbs. Now I just need my forever home! Are you it? Please think about making me part of your family! I really need a forever home! Kennel License #4068

Nittany Beagle Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue dog & Nittany Beagle Rescue! We are a foster-home based rescue. We hold showings on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month at Lyons Kennels in Bellefonte, PA from 11am - 1pm. You can meet some of our dogs then! Please email or send a PM on our FB page if you want to know if a particular dog will be at the showing. If you are interested in a particular dog, or a type of dog, please submit an application to foster or adopt (it's the same application form). Once you have an approved application for a dog, we will connect you with the dog's foster parent. Typically the potential adopter & foster talk on the telephone first. Then if the dog seems like a good fit, we arrange a personal meet & greet.
