Rudolph's Story

Hi, I’m Rudolph—most people call me Rue

I’m a sweet, gentle boy who loves being around my people. I enjoy relaxing on the couch, hanging out at your feet while you go about your day, and soaking up affection. I’m calm by nature but still playful and curious, especially when I’m outside running around the yard or playing with other dogs.

I’ve done very well with the dogs in my foster home and would be happy living with another dog or as your one-and-only. I’m friendly with people, affectionate, and love attention, though I haven’t met many people outside my foster family yet.

I’m still a puppy and learning as I go! I’m house-trained, sleep well in my crate at night, and am starting to learn basic manners. Like most puppies, I sometimes chew or play with my mouth, but I respond well to gentle correction and redirection.

My energy level is a nice balance—I enjoy playtime but also love to relax and cuddle. I’d do best in a home with a yard where I can run and play, with people who will continue helping me grow into a well-mannered adult dog.

If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing pup who enjoys both play and quiet moments, I might be the perfect match for you!

Rudolph was born approximately July 2025 and will be a medium to large dog when fully grown.

His adoption fee is $500.
