*PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt out on a first-come/first-serve basis. Applications are accepted for a puppy and then a home check is scheduled. What a perfect name for this time of year,, right?! I'm such a little peanut, as my foster Mom always says, but with the biggest personality and love, and I love all the cuddles. I also have the cutest grunt when cuddling. I am comfortable in the crate, do well in the car, get along well with kids, and enjoy spending time with my three resident dogs. I love playing with toys too, and my foster Mom made me the most fun playpen that I like to hang out in. Have you seen my "dumbo ears"? They are adorable, as I keep hearing, including my precious little face. Potty training is a work in progress, but I'm really smart and will pick it up in no time. I can't wait to meet you and show off how cute I really am! I'm pretty that since I am such a catch, I'll be the perfect match for someone with lots of love to share, patience if I make mistakes and time to keep working with me on my home life skills. If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can@ Sweet cuddles and happy tail wags-Rudolf **The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $525 which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.*

Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog. Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for. Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog. We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.
