Rudder's Story

Meet Rudder! Rudder is a senior lab mix who is approximately 9-10 years old, but don’t let her age fool you! She’s very active and her blood work shows that she’s in great health!

Rudder is very friendly, intelligent, and eager to please! Since she has been at the shelter, we have learned that she does not care for the company of other dogs, so she would need to be the only canine in the home. Her former owner stated that she has lived with a cat, but she does appear to want to chase the shelter cats. She could just be overly excited due to the busy shelter environment; however, we always recommend supervised introductions between cats and dogs until it’s known how they will react to each other in their new home. She has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations.

To meet Rudder, please stop by the shelter any day of the week between 10am-2pm.
