Ruby Red is a sweet and spunky two-year-old terrier mix who’s been on quite the journey. Ruby came to us in rough shape. She was taken in by an amazing foster family where she has been getting healthy and learning how to be her best self. Ruby is now ready to find a forever home of her own!<br/><br/>Ruby has a big heart and a lot of love to give. She thrives on human attention and would love nothing more than to be your shadow and cuddle buddy. Ruby lives with a cat in her foster home and, while she sometimes gets a little too excited, she’s learning the art of coexisting peacefully. She is not fond of other dogs and she needs to be an only dog for now. <br/><br/>She’ll do best with a patient, consistent adopter who can help her continue to grow with some gentle training and structure. We think she would do best in a home with kids over the age of ten.
