S<br/>he knows her commands, picks up on new routines like she’s reading your mind, and would probably do your taxes if you let her.<br/><br/>But Ruby’s story didn’t start out happy. <br/>She was left behind when her family moved away—literally packed up and drove off, leaving her to run the streets with nothing but confusion in her eyes. <br/>No goodbye. No plan. Just silence.<br/>And still… Ruby Red has nothing but love to give.<br/>She’s loyal to the core, watches your every move like she’s studying for an exam, and gives side-eye like a seasoned sitcom character.<br/> She’s looking for a second chance with a family that won’t leave her behind. <br/>One that sees her for the treasure she is: a loyal best friend, protector, and partner in crime (or in snacks).<br/>Ruby Red is ready to move on from her past and into someone’s heart forever. <br/>Ruby Red has been fostered outside but she is so smart we believe house training her will be quicker than a toddler with a passion for Apple Juice.<br/>She gets along with her foster siblings, sniffs at the cat without giving chase, and is great with well-behaved children. <br/>She walks wonderfully on a leash.<br/>Ruby Red will require an adopter with a fenced yard to keep her safe.<br/>Ruby Red unfortunately is heartworm positive but don’t let that deter you from giving her the home she deserves!
