Ruby

Ruby is a very sweet ~10 yr little lady. She weighs ~7 lbs. She was owner surrendered to the shelter b/c her previous owner could no longer care for her. Ruby came to us with mange, easily treatable, we've already started her treatment which is simply giving her monthly preventatives and antibiotics to treat the secondary infection. She will have her gorgeous coat back soon. Ruby gets along with small dogs, she does ok with laid back large dogs, but she feels most comfortable around smaller dogs. Ruby hasn't showed any interest in toys or chew bones. She LOVES her humans. She needs a home with someone who is around most of the time (works from home or is retired). Ruby is happiest when she has her humans to love. Ruby does beautifully in the car, in fact she loves to go on car rides, she walks well on leash and she's fully housebroken. This little lady is the perfect guest in her foster home, she hasn't touched anything even when left alone. She loves her dog bed and her humans' bed, she burrows under covers.
