Meet Ruby! Ruby is the sweetest older lady around, who loves to live life to the fullest. She’s happy to be wherever you are and gets excited about everything that excites you! Ruby would make an adorable companion or family dog. She has lived in a home with another dog, but would probably prefer to be the only dog in the home. She has done wonderfully in family homes of all ages—including meeting toddlers and larger groups of young teens. She’s incredibly respectful, even when meeting new people in wheelchairs. Visitors are welcome to browse any time we are open. If you see a pet you are interested in adopting, please ask a staff member or volunteer to take them out of the kennel for a meet and greet. You will be asked to fill out a short questionnaire to help guide your personalized adoption counseling session. If all seems like a good match, you will sign the paperwork, pay the adoption fee, and take your new pet home same day!
