We are not a shelter, but a foster home-based rescue, and these animals are all housed individually with foster families.<br/><br/>Please review our application carefully and ensure everyone in the family is ready for the lifelong responsibility and commitment of a canine companion.<br/><br/>PLEASE NOTE: Ruby will only be adopted out within 25 miles of the Rochester, NY area.<br/><br/>Ruby is a sweet girl who truly thrives when she’s close to her people. While she is crate trained, she would do best in a home where she doesn’t need to spend long stretches of time in a crate. She loves being part of the action—whether that means relaxing by your side or heading outside to zoom around and burn off her playful energy.<br/><br/>Ruby is fully house-trained and wonderful with kids. She has also done well with other dogs who can match (and tolerate!) her enthusiastic play style. In fact, she would absolutely love a dog sibling to run around the yard with—and then cuddle up beside afterward.<br/><br/>Ruby would prefer a home without cats. They just don’t seem to appreciate her playful approach to life, and she can’t quite figure out why! Haha<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun-loving companion, Ruby might just be your perfect match.
