?? Meet Rubble! Rubble is a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix who has been through more than any dog should have to endure. He came to us through a seizure case after living in less-than-ideal conditions. Because he was never properly socialized, the world is a very scary place for this sweet boy. Rubble has such a gentle, sweet demeanor, but he simply doesn't know what to do when someone gives him affection. Lovins are new to him, and you can almost see him trying to figure out what this whole “being loved” thing is all about. Rubble is unsure of just about everything right now. He needs a patient, understanding person who will give him the time and space to decompress, build trust, and slowly learn that people, love, and the world around him don't have to be scary. He came in with three other dogs and is most likely dog-friendly, but a dog test will be required. We are unsure how he feels about cats, so super slow and patient introductions would be best. We are also unsure how he will feel around children, so we ask that the entire family come for the meet. Rubble is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He doesn't need someone to rush him. He needs someone willing to sit beside him, go at his pace, and show him what a safe and loving home feels like. Sometimes the dogs who need the most patience are the ones who have the most love to give once they finally feel safe.
